Richard Swinburne is Emeritus Nolloth Professor of the Philosophy of the Christian Religion at the University of Oxford and Emeritus Fellow of Oriel College, Oxford. He is also a Fellow of the British Academy. His interest as a philosopher is particularly in the meaning and justification of the central claims of Christianity.
