Bishop Richard Malone, Th.D. is the former Bishop of Portland in Maine in the United States. Formerly the Director of Religious Education and then the Secretary for Education in the Archdiocese of Boston, he continues his strong involvement in the work of catechesis at a national level as Episcopal Advisor for the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership, a member of the United States Bishops’ Committee for Evangelization, and President of the New England Conference of Diocesan Directors of Religious Education. Bishop Malone now serves as Bishop of the Diocese of Buffalo, NY.
