When most parishes think about the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, there is a tendency to immediately form a class for the Rite of Acceptance into the order of Catechumens for the unbaptized or the Rite of Welcoming for those previously baptized who wish to journey toward becoming Catholic.  Many times the gathering of this class is done in a very passive manner.  Perhaps there was a notice in the parish bulletin and a few strategic phone calls were made to individuals who were already involved in the parish but were not yet Catholic.  In many cases these
