Bishop Patrick O’Donoghue was ordained as Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of Westminster on 29th June 1993, and then as Bishop of Lancaster, a Diocese that stretches from Preston in Central Lancashire to the Scottish Border, and takes in the whole of the Lake District and the West Cumbrian Coast, on 4th July 2001.
